Brian Reyes is a Los Angeles-based Personal Chef.

I specialize in home-cooked family style meals with an emphasis on taste and quality. I draw from a number of culinary influences including Italian, French, Chinese, Japanese, and Filipino. My meals are the ones you treat yourself to after a day of work or a fun family outing.

I can offer restaurant quality food in house for those groups or families who have trouble getting out to sit-down dining establishments. I can tailor the menus to fit whatever particular eating habits kids (and adults) might have. I have experience in cooking for particular food allergies and restrictions, as well as a background in making healthier, cleaner meals.

My philosophy towards food revolves around love - it’s both a labor of love and an expression of it. I love to cook but most of all I love to cook for others. I feel like cooking for smaller groups of people is so much more rewarding than banging out dozens of dishes a night for customers who I’ll never see face to face.

About Brian Reyes

Brian began cooking at an early age, when his mom taught him how to make scrambled eggs; he promptly put enough salt in them to remember not to do so again. Since then he’s gone to cooking school where he learned under Chef Eric Greenspan (Mare, Greenspans Grilled Cheese, The Roof on Wilshire), and then went on to cook at various restaurants including several run by Chef Andre Guerrero (Oinkster, Max Restaurant, Maximilliano). Brian cooks mainly out of love, which is why many of his meals have a rich, family-feel to them.
